I gave a talk for my class, "Steps in a Journey" on my experience with Silent Retreats and posted to Youtube.  It is a time for God to talk to us, for us to grow in a stronger relationship with Him, for Him to heal us of deep inner wounds.  This is where the term Contemplation" truly fits in.  Be sensitive to those around you.  God may be healing their hearts and they may be very vulnerable and the silence perhaps unbearable.  My spiritual director whispered to me, "I'll pray for you."

RETREAT MASTER - Fr. James Blount, is an internationally known priest of the Society of Our Lady of the Trinity (SOLT) - Georgia Mission.  A very gifted spiritual director and confessor, Fr. Blount is a powerful instrument of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by so many stories of miracles, healings, and conversions.  He speaks of living a life in relationship with each of the Persons of the Holy Trinity.  His teachings depict his deep love for the Eucharist.  His intimate relationship, love, and devotion to Jesus and Mary draw many souls to also fall in love with them.  His humble boldness and untiring drive to minister to the lost and ill are particularly noteworthy.
Father Blount promotes the Flame of Love devotion.  The devotion is not as much focused on messages or a messenger as on calling the Church to all the great practices of Grace we have always had but often neglect:  The effect of devotion to the Flame of Love is to make our parishes, families, and lives so full of Jesus by the power of grace, that Satan's influence on our families and surrounding communities is broken.
He has many podcasts and videos on the internet.
